more then a year after the crash I've got the tank back up and running. lets learn from my mistake and always ALWAYS have your heater plugged into a controller

Looking good...what kind of corals are you going to put in this?

well, im really leaning toward an all montipora tank. its my favorite sps. and i love the plates.

and yes, it has 3 coats of clear coat, inside and out.

 

ive got work until 4ish tomorrow, after that im going to get my dad to take me to home depot to get pvc and what not to plumb the tank.

ok, so i got the tank plumbed. i havnt wet tested it yet.

i wont be able to set the tank up until my mom gets a new couch.

hopefully by next weekend it will be up.

 

on another note, my mom bought me a propagation set up from local guy. its set up in my bed room now.

I just ordered myself a Tribal Blenny. They have awesome personalities.

How did you know I got a tribal blenny? Lol

Are you grow nano reef?

just wet tested the tank. theres a small leak in the intake baffle. also the quiet one pump i bought didnt work. so i grabbed a pump from the propagation setup i just got. it work well. hopefully the quite one will work with the other set up, it think it will because the head loss with be A LOT less because its so low to the ground.

Did you use a teflon sealant? I would apply a liberal amount at all threaded connectors.
