Annap729 August 13, 2011 August 13, 2011 None at home depot; no bulkheads w slip fittings at west marine. The only ones there had these strips inside where the PVC goes up into it.
Incredible Corals August 13, 2011 August 13, 2011 Where are you located I have two 1/2" bulkheads that are new.
Big Country August 13, 2011 August 13, 2011 HOT has some sometimes, I think I have a couple 1" bulkheads laying around, not sure if they are hose bibbed, slip or threaded without looking though. I usually just order them from Bulk Reef Supply and get them in a few days unless its an emergency.
Annap729 August 13, 2011 Author August 13, 2011 Main thing is weld-on so I can get sump holes repaired, then do my plumbing and drill new holes. Im in Annapolis.
CaptainMorgan August 13, 2011 August 13, 2011 Try Avast (sponsor). They sell small amounts that are perfect for small projects.

For some reason i'm not getting notifications of the replies. Im trying to get my notifications set so that any post i make automatically notifies me via email. tapatalk doesn't do it. Hopefully I can make that happen soon. I managed to pull the trigger on a couple threaded bulkheads, and although I now have an additional slip x thread fitting at the two spots where the fuge overflows into my sump, it should do the trick. I got the Next up: Getting an ATO for $40-60ish, adding water, sand, and my live rock aquascaping. I also need to polish the face of my 'fuge a little-to get that old acrylic paper and adhesive off, I had to put my scrubbing gloves on and hit it with a green scrubby. anyone have suggestions on an easy way? Im not pulling my tank off stand to get at the fuge-I'm just going to polish it with cabinet doors open. My plumbing is all set- I decided to stick with my mag 12 as my tank circulation, at least to start. Ive been advised that might not be a good idea because it's too much, so I hope I don't screw anything up. I just want to spend my budget on other stuff--I need a lot of rock, and some sort of reefkeeper controller at some point, in addition to eventually getting LED when the tank is stable and ready for some corals. Does anyone have any old 96w power compact bulbs? i could use a couple while i first start out-i broke three. On the aquascaping, I'm going to shoot for three main structures with some lower stuff connecting, but I don't want to make the "reef wall" style-i only have 18" to work with (feel like John Holmes when I say that)... Anyone have any acrylic rods, and if so how much? NAGA, it'll be great to have a fellow reefer on this side of DC--seems to be slim pickings over here . I haven't really stayed on top of any build thread, but i probably should get rolling on that. Maybe i'll add this info to it. Shoot, i just realized i need to add to my sooner-than-later list-im probably doing a dosing system with pumps, so that'll be on my radar eventually.
