Snail Spawning

Some of you may remember that last month I posted up a video of my clams spawning, well just about an hour ago my snails started to spawn. The males all bunched up into groups of four or five while the females were alone. The females would stand up on their foot and release the eggs. Not as smelly as the clams but the tank is really cloudy. Check out the video!

Yeah, it was only a few minutes after you left that I noticed what was going.

 

The whole tank is pretty much clear this morning, the milkiness is gone but there are still a lot off eggs floating around. I thought they would have settled out during the night. Everything else in the tank looks fine, no stress at all.
