I've shut a lot of doors in the last few minutes. IP address; email address; screen name; I've disabled their PM address and reset their password and crypt key (which should log them off immediately). I've flagged them as a spammer. This, of course, doesn't keep them from trying to sign up again, but maybe they'll find an easier target.

I don't see an option to do that. We could, however, put new registrants into a separate group without PM capabilities and auto-promote them after so-many posts or so-many days.
