Waterproof test kits

I constantly get water on my Salifert test kits and it just ruins the boxes. I decided to make a waterproof test box today. I work for the regional distributor of waterproof storage solutions, so I took a Pelican 1200 and made a custom foam insert to hold the Ca, Alk, and Mg tests. The lid has a little place for the instructions too.

All 3 test kits and the 1200 cost me about $80. Since I design and cut foam all day, the insert cost me nothing. The directions are loose in the slot on the lid. I just taped the pertinent parts of the chart on the plastic for easy reference. I've already memorized the procedures.

If you have a case and different test kits, I'll make a basic insert like the one shown here- free for WAMAS members.

I've been thinking about making a master test kit with ca, alk, mg, po4, no3, no2, ammonia, and a refractometer and ph meter that all fit in a Pelican 1500.
