Camera used: Cannon P&S SD350

Subject: This is Polycarpa Aurata, an "ink spot tunicate"

Wow. That thing looks like the Stay-Puft marshmallow man after his fight with the ghostbusters..

haha, that's great way to put it!!

I think Chad likes to be first... 3 months in a row. For a guy who says he has a hard time taking pics sometimes you sure have alot of great ones for the contest. Never seen anything like that before, its got my vote, but it is the only pic so far haha.

I like to take pictures :) It just takes me a lot of pictures playing with settings to get a good one. That tunicate is pretty easy to take pictures of though, it is 1 1/2" away from the glass and it doesnt move, hehe I was just waiting for a POTM topic where I could take one of it ;)

Alright, I'll give it a shot.

I picked it up from Aquatic Obsessions a few weeks back. It's supposed to be reef safe. It's a marbled or tiled star fish.

Can I be his buddy too.. Don't tell me you ate your buddy!

Ha, no, he never became a meal. We did call him Thermidor though (as in lobster thermidor). He was only ~4.5" from tip to tail, so...not much meat.
