Gilbert April 27, 2010 Author April 27, 2010 Okay so my star polyps have been sitting in my tank for a little over a week, and I have yet to see it come out of its purple bulbs. Should I be worried? How much longer will it take for it to show?
Coral Hind April 27, 2010 April 27, 2010 Can you post some pictures so we can see the placement of the corals?
Gilbert April 27, 2010 Author April 27, 2010 So just checked my star polyps and some of them started to poke out a little bit, so I'm pretty happy!

Coral Hind April 27, 2010 April 27, 2010 You should add a tang to help eat some of the algae in the tank.
Gilbert April 28, 2010 Author April 28, 2010 The foxface eats a good bit of that algae, but I think I might save up my money for a purple tang/any suggestions? I also just added a pair of True perculas in the tank an hour ago, they're both about one inch, I decided to just go my LFS and just picked up 2 out of the 5 true percs in the tank. So far my clarkii is not happy and chasing them around everywhere. I've tried for the past 45mins now to try and get my clarkii out, and put her in my sump possible sell her. Any suggestions on what is the easiest way to get a fish out of my tank?
Coral Hind April 28, 2010 April 28, 2010 I have good luck catching fish when the lights are out and their vision isn't as good.
Gilbert April 28, 2010 Author April 28, 2010 That sounds like a great idea, lets see if I can get that sucker tonight.
TonyInVa April 28, 2010 April 28, 2010 You could also try a trap if trying with the lights out doesnt work. They are expensive, so you may want to try and borrow one.
