How are the new bulbs working? Do they make things much brighter?

will do Reefhunter, some of the few i have are very nice for sure.

 

Hey Chris, i like the bulbs a lot, unfortnately i wont have them long enough to see any long term effect to them, i will be switching fixtures soon. but i will say that around the same time i put a hagen 65k under a few acros and those have colored up and grown.

funny you mention that, that was mine but they sent the wrong one so they kept it, mine has the overflow, an awesome cube none the less.

Hey Renato,

adding some of my pics.... using same WB as my own tank shots. Your water is definitely clearer, since there is a lot more blue showing in your tank pics compared to mine...

No post processing except unsharpmask.

I am going insane trying too take a decent shot under actinics, why is it so difficult? does anyone have certain settings wwhen shotting in this lighting? are you procesing the pics after?

i picked up some semi snowflake clowns over the weekend and also a small powder blue, i feel much safer now that i built a screen top.

a little shrink wrap will cover up those wires nicely. what's the par values on that fixture?

I meant the pic after the pic with the nuc green and purple death palys. I wanted to guess and say it looked like an ice fire enchinata but was unsure.
