El Camaron November 16, 2009 November 16, 2009 Well, this was a spare of the moment descicion that turned into a nice move since the tank is now in a new place in my house and is looking good, here are some pictures of the progress so far. ( thanks goes to Nate for helping me out throught the build, could not have happened this fast without his help for sure) i switched the sump for an eshopps advanced refugium and some pics from last night after everything settled and most of the rock and corals are placed where i want them.
zoozilla November 16, 2009 November 16, 2009 (edited) Love the setup! Did you experience any difficulties/losses with the transfer? Edited November 16, 2009 by zoozilla
El Camaron November 16, 2009 Author November 16, 2009 thanks alot guys. Dan, so far everything seems great, the inverst and fish are all accounted for. The only thing is some of the SPS lost some of their color and i eneded up braking a fre SPS branches when aquascaping but everythings seems to be fine ( knock on wood)
El Camaron November 16, 2009 Author November 16, 2009 Looks like the tank is full and you need a bigger one. lol it does look kind of full but there is plenty of room in the back and plenty of sand room now.
six-line November 16, 2009 November 16, 2009 Very nice looking setup. Can you give me any details on that skimmer your using? What's the tube in the center a bubble defusor?
El Camaron November 16, 2009 Author November 16, 2009 I am not sure what it all does but i think it difuses, then goes through the bubble plate. It was made by Dan at GSA, its just a on a budget version of his nicer looking skimmers. (it works great though)
epleeds November 16, 2009 November 16, 2009 did everything come from your other tank, or did you add some things when you upgraded?
