Any idea what kind of anemone this is? Aiptasia? Majano?

What type of fish will eat it?

Thanks for any help.

My tank was infested with them. I bought a copperband from BRK and bought 5 peppermint shrimp from Fins and Feathers via the group buy. I have not seen any aptasia in my tank for a long time.

Isn't the original poster the one growing Nudibranches that eat Aptasia?

The problem with paste is they always come back. I have a copperbanded and he killed them but then all he ate was Live Black worms also

which was a pain. As for Peppers, I have bought maybe 20 and not one have eaten one. They all disappeared also.

Maybe the aptasia got them? :)

Aiptasia

I prefer a shot of kalk paste instead of the fish or shrimp.

My tank had an infestation too. The first thing I tried was removing the rock from the tank and injecting them with lemon juice in a bucket, using a syringe. That killed the aiptasia instantly, but there were others, including some small ones. I switched to using Joe's Juice on the ones I could find and also added three peppermint shrimp. That did it, I haven't seen an aptasia since. Good luck!

Looks an awful lot like Aiptasia. Does it retract back into it's hole if it's touched? If you've only got one or two and you've got a syringe and needle, inject the mouth with lemon juice or vinegar. It's worked for me. A second application may or may not be necessary. You can also use Aiptasia X, Joe's Juice, or kalk paste. If you've got an infestation, you can go after them a few at a time, or try some biological means of control like a CBB.
