I've seen other types of snail eggs in my tank before, but never like this:

Does anyone know what this is? It's located about half way up the glass and looks like small clumps of sand attached to a stringy substance.

I may be wrong, but that kind of looks like the trails some types of snails or worms leave behind and it's probably now got sand attached to it. I don't think they're eggs though.

Yea, that's what it looks like to me also... just never seen it before and it's odd that the trail starts from the middle of the wall. If it is just a snail trail, man, that's one heavy duty slime. lol

Look like snail eggs to me. My old cerith snails sometimes used to leave a trail like that.

Though most of the patterns I saw from searching seem to be more symetrical like this:

Yeah, but some are just rebellious or geometrically challenged, I suppose.

I just got a new batch of cerith and the next day I had several trails like that on the glass. Dont know what it is, but I left it alone..
