SkiCurtis June 1, 2009 June 1, 2009 Tagging along. I have a MAC. so I want it to be very easy and work. Not just because I'm a apple user and expect that. sorry PC peeps. but not some sort of supper computer guy. So is there anything out there Like that? I have a Mac Pro and a Mac book pro lap top. wireless in the house and ehthernet (spelling)cord can be run to the tank. Thanks Curtis
Boret June 1, 2009 June 1, 2009 WiFi webcams have come down in price. That will allow you to put it where ever you want without dedicating a PC/Laptop to it. I am thinking about doing something similar.
queloque June 2, 2009 Author June 2, 2009 Tell me what you guys think? This is my 125 tank at home. Free cam hosting. http://queloque.camstreams.com/
queloque June 2, 2009 Author June 2, 2009 I like it. Look great. Can you tell me your setup? Tank setup or cam setup?
queloque June 2, 2009 Author June 2, 2009 cam setup Just go to camstreams.com and set up an account. There is a tool you download that communicates with whatever camera you have and that is pretty much it. You might have to do some router configurations for your port. I'm testing them out for a little bit.
