  2. As posted with details my other getting out of hobby sale. This tank set up is now free to pick up as soon as possible. You will need help of a few people to help with the move. Text me at 2025504801. Tank is in Arlington va 22204 80g tank set up. 40L x 20H x 24D. Corner overflow, 1/2" thick glass with sapphire front Normal usage, light scratch but once fill with water it doesn't show much. Just from regular cleaning/usage over the years. No leak Custom 3 chambers glass sump (for skimmer, fuge, return) ~15g Custom Wooden Tank Stand (White) Very Strong. Custom 10g acrylic RODI reservoir. All sump, plumbing, RODI reservoir fit perfect under the tank/stand I will include all my plumbing for return/drain. This tank is quite heavy even when empty so you will need a a few strong friends to lift the tank out of the stand cabinet. The return bulkhead is very tight and is under the cabinet in the corner so I left it attaching to the bottom of the tank as I couldn't get into a comfortable position to unscrew it. There is a few" of pvc pipes still attach so the tank will need to be lift up or cut off under the tank. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Hi everyone. I took down my tank beginning of the year to preparing for a move. I have sold off all the livestock and only left with some the hardwares left. The tank and all equipment is located in Arlington VA 22204. For the tank set up you will need a couple strong friends to help. Here is my tank set up from 2018 TOTM. Most items are the same except I upgraded some light equipments. https://wamas.org/forums/totm/totmprev.php/?prev=totm-2018-04 80g tank set up. 300$ OBO 40L x 20H x 24D. The return bulkhead is very tight and is under the cabinet in the corner so I left it attaching to the bottom of the tank as I couldn't get into a comfortable position to unscrew it. There is ~5" of pvc pipes still attach so the tank will need to be lift straight up couple inches when moving it out of the stand. 4. I think your salinity is fine. I assume this is a green/red bubble tip anemone? If so sometime it will close up and move around. If your tank is new and you just recently added the anemone then it maybe a little stress and need time to adjust to the new enviroment. They are usually strong so they should be fine after couple days hiding. If the anemone stomach is inside out tomorrow and the foot is not sticking to the rock then it is maybe dying. Depend on how big your tank is and what else is in there you may need to remove it before it spoil the rest of the aquarium.
  5. try turn on the light really bright in the middle of the night and use a net.
  6. I also dosed chemi clean to get rid of cyano on my anemone tank. It crashed the next day and I lost all corals and 15+ anemone. One of the anemone did released its foot and got crushed by the powerhead so that probably added to it.
  7. I don't think 1 ai prime will cover that 18x12 maybe a hydra will be better. not much diff in price
  8. This is amazing! Can you share a bit information about your set up?
  9. Beautiful man. I wish I can keep all the sides clean like yours. When I used to have some anemones they always move around. Your water parameter must be perfect. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I use RC. Do you guys like IO better? Seem so much cheaper.
  11. thank you guys for the suggestions. I will start with the Kalk paste to see if I can slowly control and reduce the Zoa number within the next 2 weeks. Im planning to inject 1~2 per day and see how it go.
  12. Ya I was just angry [emoji23] but it is pink and gold look nice but it is choking all my corals around it. I got this from a wamas meeting as a few polyps frag. A year later... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Ya this is one big rock about 24” long with many coral encrusted on it. It is in my 30gallon nano tank. Maybe instead of kalk paste a whole chunk which I read from many palytoxin horror stories online I would do 2 polyps a day before leaving for work each morning. This way when they die and release the toxin, I’m not around. Though a fish or invert that eat zoa I think would be the best bet. No nudibranch though maybe some kind of crazy crab or hermit? 14. I got this ugly zoa/paly growing all over the rock in my nano tank mix in with some hair algea. The rock can not be remove or chip apart as it is the base of the rock work. I was thinking of scrapping or kalk paste the zoa but afraid it might crash my tank with palytoxin. I can’t even remove the hair algea properly without messing with the zoa. My plan is to get a fish that eat these kind of zoa. Any suggestion on fish that proven to eat zoa & paly? I can remove most of the other coral in my tank except for a huge colony of Duncan and some basic sps and my pair of clownfish. This is the zoa in question. Brown with yellowish speckles. 16. Looking nice Issac. What is the name of the orange and green Zoa next to your red dragon frag?
  17. yours look great. even if you didnt tell me i was gonna vote 23 anyway
  18. they are more aggressive than the skunk and fire shrimp for sure. I wouldn't keep them mix with other shrimps. I had a big one that will chase after new fish when I add them to the tank.
  19. I started a tank like this a while back and then as time pass i started to get rid of all those coral and replace with more expensive one.
  20. radion pro would be nice however I have the same tank dimension and i used hydra 26. I never test how much par but my coral are growing and looking great
  21. Please let me know If anyone traveling from Woodbridge passing by Arlington can help pick up a small coral for me. Thanx Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. If these are BTA then you should be fine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Let us know if you need any help feel free to reach out to members on the forum. I know a lot of members have big setup like ReefBum mentioned that can help hold the livestock coral/fish etc and give away to other reefers who starting out. Someone gave me a free skinny yellow tang 2 years ago when I first start out and he is my favorite fish. The idea of adopting someone else fish and give it a home is a lot better than buying at the store.
