I dont know... alot of kalk? tunzes? 10k bulbs? I just switched to radiums so I think it slowed down a little bit...

This colony is dead center with four big tunzes blowing water to the front center of the glass... so no direct flow but definately high flow... it is directly under my center glass brace so it is not getting anywhere near as much light as it should... thats why the colors aren't as good now as it was...

This coral is AMAZING under actinics...

I have plenty of frags available too! Sorry I had to...

(edited)

you see the majano anemones in the last picture... they are where the original frag plus from the first picture was removed... so everything in the picture is new growth... in 10 months

That's the growth you should get out of a 10K bulb. You'll probably get about half that amount of growth from 20Ks.

Very nice growth - very nice coral!!

I have my own awesome growth pictures to display!!

For reasons completely unknown to man... the slowest growing coral I've ever had.

Beautiful growth!!!! I wish I have before and after shot of my ORA Green Birdnest. I got him like skinny 1" then over 2 years- he grew to 12" ball. Then weird RTN hits and lost whole thing in 12 hours. Now, all I have left is 1 1/2" that survived the RTN.
