reefhunter March 11, 2009 March 11, 2009 I like Radiums and I think thats probably the response you will get from anyone who has tried them. I saw some ice cap 14k 175 bulbs the other day and was impressed with the color... I used to run XM 10 k and loved them... but needed more colors...

reefmontalvo March 12, 2009 March 12, 2009 Are there any photo comparisons out there. I think this subject was once brought up in the past and I think the Phoenix 14k's were rated higher.
SteveM March 12, 2009 March 12, 2009 (edited) I was running 250W XM 10K until a few months ago. I switched to the Radiums and the color is fantastic but a VERY different look than the XM's. I have ARO electronic ballasts and they run the Radiums just fine. Edited March 12, 2009 by SteveM
trockafella March 12, 2009 March 12, 2009 RADIUM FOR SURE..!! Went from an XM to Radium, love the blueish color on the radium, much more pop..!!
Grav March 14, 2009 March 14, 2009 I was very impressed with the color on SteveMs tank with the new radiums. Should be noted he also has 4 VHO antinics which are also VERY helpful in color up. If you look at Sanjay's comparison, the spectrium of the pheonix 250 de and the radium 250 se are very very similar.
