Jan March 9, 2009 Share March 9, 2009 Actually, isn't it pink because of the lack of coloration? I think you're right. I think it's considered an albino. There is also a fresh water species, the pink Amazon River dolphin, Inia geoffrensis, found in the Amazon basin. They are considered albino. Origami March 9, 2009 Share March 9, 2009 Actually, isn't it pink because of the lack of coloration? Technically / biologically, yes, since it's an albino. However, in more common terms - it's pink and pink's a color.
reefmontalvo May 20, 2009 Share May 20, 2009 Nice article. I had an albino dog as a child and when I lived in Louisiana I used to go over to Tyler, Texas and they had an albino gator living in the zoo.
