Mag-floats are worth it. I was using some black offbrand one for freshwater tanks, and the Mag-float did exponentially better.

mag-float (glass) i have had one for almost 3 years now. I just used it for a frag rack and I'm getting a new one!

I can't image something better than the Mag-floats. If there is something better, I would like to know.

I use the Magnavore 6 ER. Works great.

What size tank and construction? That will guide your decision some.

Looks like most of you guys are using mag-float

I have half circle 144g Ocranic glass tank which is 1/2" thick

I guess I'll just search online for the best price
