Brian Ward November 25, 2008 Share November 25, 2008 I've seen several of you guys with long forceps for handling items in the tank. I've found a source for them up to about 12", but does anyone make them longer than that? Maybe 18" or 22"? Where can you buy those? I like the ones with the curve on the end. DonP November 25, 2008 Share November 25, 2008 There are a bunch of Hemostats on ebay. Here is a link to 24" stainless steel straight and curved sets: http://search.stores.ebay.com/Surginstrume...mostatsQQsofpZ0
flowerseller November 25, 2008 Share November 25, 2008 Possibly. But I still need a vendor .... Try HERE If you're talking about the ones like you saw at my house last night, this is the best price inc. shipping I've ever seen. As with any SS, you still need to rinse well in FW after use. I'll be in for 1 if anyone is going for this.

flowerseller November 25, 2008 Share November 25, 2008 I now see this sale as 1 unit of 10 available. Someone needs to "buy it now" or all will loose. I think I paid $18-$22 each shipped when I got them for Howard and I

Brian Ward November 25, 2008 Author Share November 25, 2008 looks like we have 9. Those aren't quite what I was looking for, but I'll look around and see what I can find. I'm also looking for an 18" and 24" pair. I'd like the end to be curved for picking up corals and whatnot instead of blunt-nosed like those are. But I think there's plenty of interest so I'll pull them off my christmas list and go ahead and organize a buy.

DaveS November 26, 2008 Share November 26, 2008 One picture depicts curved ones. He's probably got whatever we want. Here's an auction of 6 16" ones- 3 straight, 3 curved. http://cgi.ebay.com/WHOLESALE-HEMOSTAT-SS-...1713.m153.l1262 Admittedly I'm probably more interested in ~18" curved ones. My frag tank isn't that big.
