I figure it's about time I add some critters to my sump, and got to thinking I have no idea what I should have in there. I'm using a 100 gallon Rubbermaid type sump, and the only thing I have alive in there now is a large mass of Cheato, a bunch of pods, and maybe 20lbs of rock.

Suggestions?

:why:

i have two green banded gobies in my fuge in my sump. I had no where to put them when I broke down a nanocube. oh and some dwarf cerith snails also.

Well... my sumps are like tanks to me and I have quite a bit in them. I've got an Emperor in one, a couple of eels and a whole lot of other fish all destined for school in another with a ton of rock, a yellow belly regal in isolation with an ocellaris or percula clown, can't remember which species it is, and then a bunch of frags, softies, and anemones along with a few fish in another one...

90 - Cheato

75 - Cheato

30 - Cheato , a snail I can't find any pics or info concerning, and a small serpent star that has a taste for hermits.

well since i have a seperate refugium and a sump....along with the equipment i have assorted aptasia, sponges and probly a mess of pods.

my sump and refugium are separate, so I'll say refugium - macros and pods. Last week a had a firefish in there and a yellow clown goby, but I brought the nano home and moved them over.

Oh shoot... I forgot I put my urchin in the sump last week (sump, not refugium). I never see him, almost never saw him in the tank, so he's pretty easy to forget about. I've spent most of the past year thinking I should ask for a trade, but urchins are cool if they aren't knocking things over..

Cheato, pods, tube worms, bristle worms, and a 15" brittle green star - aka "the monster". A good show for my kids visiting friends at feeding time.

A big clump of chaeto you gave me, that has grown about 20% since then.

Good to hear it. I'll have a frag for you this weekend if your going to be up this direction this weekend as well.

55 - cheato, asterina stars, fan worms. Used to have some hermit crabs and snails but they all ended up as "pump bait".

30 - cheato, pods, 1 lonely hermit crab who got in my way one too many times.

9 - cheato, working on the pods.
