Stephen July 29, 2008 Share July 29, 2008 Noticed this in some coral rubble the other day in a sump. I decided it deserved a home in the tank. I've been looking for days for an ID but have come up empty. Any idea what it is? Sorry for the pic quality.
scott711 July 29, 2008 Share July 29, 2008 Looks like it could be baby LPS(either Frogspawn, Hammer, or one from that family)

CHUBAKAH July 29, 2008 Share July 29, 2008 Kind of looks like a candycane, or trumpet coral. Hard to tell from the pic.
Stephen July 29, 2008 Author Share July 29, 2008 I have a couple of frogspawn. It doesn't look like the normal heads they put out. I'll try to get a better pic really quick. I'm assuming it's some sort of LPS but I can't find a thing on it. There's 12 or so polyps on this rock that are on the top, bottom, sides, etc. There's one on the bottom that's a little bigger and the "tube" it's in is around 1/4 of an inch long. It looks like a little anemone that's growing out of a rock tube. Here's another pic. Maybe just a little bit better.
