  1. maybe galaxy??? looks kinda like the heads of the galaxy coral Melinda
  2. Still available??? Definately would like it
  3. Have a pair of Helfrichi in my 29 gallon no problem with the pair, but when I tried to add a flasher wrasse it scared the daylights out of the helfrichi so I had to remove it. Not sure why but maybe cuz it has same type of body?? Also have three purple firefish in daughters nano with no problems. Good Luck
  4. We lost power for over 12 hrs in leesburg. Adam and I ran around like chickens with our heads cut off trying to get our old generator started. (It is officially dead) Finally after about an hour we found a car converter and hooked up 1 powerhead for our 29g and 2 powerheads with a airstone in our 165. At 5 am the husband went to homedepot and bought us a new generator. The house got down to mid 50s and the tanks were high 60s. We were able to slowly bring the tank temps back up and sofar we have been very lucky and have not seen any losses at all. We are now ready for the next poweroutage
  5. We moved tanks this last wknd actually on Sat. and by Mon it was splitting.
  6. Last wknd decided to change out tanks and add a sump. We went from a 24 allinone to a 29 bow with sump. In the process of arranging the rock we must of somehow pinched the base of the rbta. The next day the rbta looked odd cuz one part was sticking out a hole and the other part hiding under the rock. On Monday we realized that it had split in two. One piece is now in a hole in the front looking great and the other is on the move. Hope that both will make it. We have never had any of our anemones in the past split and I am a huge anemone lover so its real exciting to me. When the second one comes out will definately post a pick. Melinda

  8. U are correct. Sorry about that did not look at which section we were putting this in. Maybe one of the moderators cold move this post for us. Sorry about that. Melinda
  9. hey everyone .. looking to make a lighting purchase for my 150 high.. After extensive reading of posts and tanks of the months and reading tons of articles it looks like I am leaning towards the luminarc 3 mini stealth .. being as my tank is only 18 inches wide .. looking at the reeflux mh 12 k 250 ... and the ice cap ballasts. The input that I would really appreciate is .. 1. Are the DE bulbs the way to go .. or are there drawbacks 2. Should I go magnetic ballast or are the electronic the way to go ? 3. When I put these luminarc reflectors above my tank there will be no room for t5 bulbs for the actinic . Will the 12k bulbs give off enough blue. If anyone has any other combinations that would work better I am all eyes. Also where is the best place to order my lighting from... Sorry for the long post but if I wrote down all o fthe possible scenarios I have going through my head it would be a good 2 hours of reading for everyone. Adam
  10. Yeah we r willing to help. As we mentioned to Rebecca just may need a reminder as we are doing so many things lately.
  11. I have to agree with the people who have posted here. The maroons are gorgeous but can be quite aggressive. Not sure if you have thought to the other fish you are looking to get as tankmates to the clowns that you pick, but that also may help you decide which type to go with. We currently have black ocellaris clowns and have had a pair of gold stripe maroons. If you are planning on having docile fish in the tank then I would go with the ocellaris. My 2cents, Melinda
  12. Had a feeling someone would say Deltec. I think we will end up with oe by the end of the week. Thanks
  13. Looking to replace the seaclone that is not working. I saw another thread from earlier this year saying that the remora was a good option. Is it still a good option or is there something else that is better out there now. It will be going on a 29g without a sump.
  14. Thanks everyone! Hope to see you all at the next meeting.
