Bendalat July 30, 2007 July 30, 2007 Just want to introduce some of my buddies. Sohal Tang (6") Powder Blue Tang (3") Magnificent Foxface (6") Black Tang (6") Yellow Belly Hippo Tang (4") And the Gang
mosheikh July 30, 2007 July 30, 2007 Your fish look amazing. It looks like the yellow belly found a great home . Mohsin
jamesbuf July 30, 2007 July 30, 2007 Awesome. I've got to stop by your next tank tour. What are the dimensions of your tank? How long did it take for coraline to cover the bottom of your tank?
lanman July 30, 2007 July 30, 2007 Very cool -- how big is that tank? Seems nice and roomy :-) Matt If I remember correctly - it is 4 feet wide, and 5 feet front-back. Roomy it is bob
davelin315 July 30, 2007 July 30, 2007 Look up his tank build. It's an awesome project. Khanh, that's one awesome efflo! If it wasn't for that piece, the others would look awesome, but it makes them look... almost ordinary (but not quite!).
Bendalat July 30, 2007 Author July 30, 2007 Thanks you all. Weap0n_X, the hippo is very happy, and eats like a pig. Yes, the tank is 5'x4'x2' Here are the old picks of FTS
Bendalat July 30, 2007 Author July 30, 2007 how do you like the Bare Bottom? Pro and con? bk_market, I never truely have a sand bed so I don't know how to compare. I do know that with BB, the tank can have more flow and easier to clean. I do like the look of the sand bed though.
davelin315 July 30, 2007 July 30, 2007 Hey Khanh, what's the pecking order in your tank (if there is one with that much room to roam)? You've got a number of tangs and I was curious as to how it shook out.

Dave, Naturally, the Sohal tang is the king, then the Black tang, the Hippo tang, the Powder Blue tang, the Purple tang, and the Yellow tang. The Magnificent Foxface is the police of the tank. It will step in and break up if any fight occurs. The Sohal and Powder Blue are already paid the price for fighting. While they were fighting, the Foxface step in, the Sohal and the Powder Blue turned and fought the Foxface. The result was both of them had a swollen faces.( because of the Foxface
Guest NSC July 31, 2007 July 31, 2007 Simply amazing! Beautiful fish slightly offset by the magnificence of the massive colonies...a picture straight off the reef only in your home, it's what we all work towards. TOTM? Bob? Can I get some back up here?
akbuuur July 31, 2007 July 31, 2007 lol thats awesome, i love magnificent foxfaces. its soo cool how each fish has its own personality just like my dwarf angel thinking its a tang
jamesbuf July 31, 2007 July 31, 2007 You mention no DSB allowing increased flow. What do you have in your tank for flow other than the 2 tunzes pictured?
Bendalat July 31, 2007 Author July 31, 2007 (edited) You mention no DSB allowing increased flow. What do you have in your tank for flow other than the 2 tunzes pictured? James, The tank has four 6100 Tunze streams connecting to a multi controller; 2 hidden behind the rock. Each produces 3175 gph. The return pump is Mag18. At 6', I think it's about 800 gph. The turn over in the tank is about 40x to 45x. Khanh, Edited July 31, 2007 by Bendalat
