jamal May 27, 2007 May 27, 2007 generally it seems like specialty hardware stores have it year round but it is a seasonal product try a true value store
dbartco May 27, 2007 May 27, 2007 I got a 50# bag at the home depot in Leesburg, but this was at the beginning of the winter season. Prestone Diveway heat at Walmart... Problem is that it is seasonal. Good luck with the search.

Guest TimG June 4, 2007 June 4, 2007 (edited) Got a 50lb bag of Peladow last summer, looks similar to Kent Turbo Calcium. They also have the Mag Flake products. http://www.harveysalt.com/ They are just North of the Baltimore Beltway in the Whitemarsh area. Tim Edited June 4, 2007 by TimG
Grav June 10, 2007 June 10, 2007 I now have everything needed for the 3 part in large amounts. I could sit down and measure everything out dry and bring to the next meeting. Who would want some?? How much would you want to make?
Stephen Wright June 10, 2007 June 10, 2007 I plan on being at the meeting and would be happy to buy a set. Enough for 5 gals? Whats that 2 cups dry per gal for the Ca and 2 1/4 cups per gal for the Alk? I have read about it, but havent made it myself before. Where did you end up finding the bulk chemicals?
Grav June 11, 2007 June 11, 2007 I loaded up on the DowFlake in the winter, (planned to use it for the driveway too) and recently got the Mag Flake in a trade with another member. I don't think you are going to find it again untill December at best.
