Hey, I just sold my skimmer on RC, but do not have a box to ship it in. If any WAMAS member has a box laying around (preferably one that is either 27" tall or long), that they dont need and wouldnt mind giving away I would greatly appreciate it. The skimmer is about 26" tall (with cup) and has a 10x10" footprint, so if you have a box that can accomadate those dimensions, that you dont need and can give away, again I would greatly appreciate it. I dont feel like paying $15 for a peice of cardboard so any help would be appreciated. Same goes with any other shipping supplies (styrofoam, peanuts, bubble wrap), if you have any of these things that you dont need then pass them my way. Any help will be greatly appreciated. The seller packaged the skimmer very well and he has sold many things without the buyers having any problems. I believe that the skimmer was cracked during shipping but he is trying to work with me, trying to figure things out, money wise.

The skimmer is not new. Its used. I also forgot to say what skimmer it is. Its a Euro Reef CS8-2

The Skimmer isnt new. I got it used off a member on RC. Should I return it or just glue it?

Hey, I just got my skimmer in and there seems to be a small half inch crack by the outlet. Would you guys recommend gluing it or should I leave it alone? If I should glue it, what glue do you recommend? Should I glue the inside and the out side?

I have sort of switch my choices. I have decided not to get the aqua C ev 180, so now my two choices are a USED euro reef cs8-2 or a BRAND NEW Octopus Recirculating 150....Which one?

I have come down to these two skimmers in my decision for which skimmer is right for me. Which one would you guys recommend and why? How have they worked out for you? Did you do any mods to get it to work better? Do you have any pictures of the gunk it took out? Thanks, Ali
