What does everyone consider idea for Phosphates, Magnesium and Alkalinity?

My setup take roughly an hour, plus I can do Dual Layer which means if your DVD is more than 4gb in size I can put in on one disc without compressing the data. Compression degrates the screen resolution.

That's definitely worth looking into. I just have to separate them a bit differently because this tank is only 4', which makes it a little bit more interesting.

Wow...I'm hooked. It's starting to sound like the T5s have my name all over them. Also, very quick product findings showed 48" 8 tube at 54W per. Seems awfully low to me on the wattage end. What are you guys running? Also, if I went 8 tubes would you use 4 10K, 4 actinic or 6 10K 2 actinic? Thanks so much guys, so helpful........ Scott

I'd like to be flexible enough to keep everything, but I really want to run the gammit of montis, millis and acro, frogspawn, few clams and of course the normal run of softies on the bottom.

Thanks... Do you think with a tank that deep, 2 feet, VHO or T5s would get enough light to the bottom. I'm sure all of the SPS would have to be on the top 1/3-1/4 anyway, but I would love to go that route if I could.

Hi all. I'm working on the specs for my new 125g and want to have enough light to do everything, which of course means MH. My problem is I have cathedral ceilings so there is no chance of hanging. If I have a canopy does that mean I must have a chiller?

Hey all.... I'm thinking about upgrading my Coralife PC hood to a MH/PC combo hood. The problem is it is on a 30g tank that is only 30" wide. The pc hood I have is 30". Do you think I could use a 24" MH/PC combo hood on this tank? I would be hitting roughly 9 watts per gallon with the one I'm looking at. Also, if I did that, should I go 10K 15K or 20K? Welcome to the saltwater club!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Depends on the tank, but watch conditions of your water. Test often and when they have all stabilized you should be ready to go.

Does anyone have any Stylo or Cat's Paw in their tanks? If so, what lighting and flow are you sitting them in. I'm thinking about getting some for my tank and have read all of the stuff to read, but am curious in real world examples. Is any hardier than others? Thanks, Scott

Is there any true test for the weight of a system on the 2nd floor....I have a 55g on a 4ft outside wall and am planning on putting the repaired 125g I got from BRK on that same wall.....whatcha think....the house is only 8 years old. I hadn't had a chance to work on the tank yet, so I haven't gotten to this question yet. I figured since someone else brought it up, then maybe I better. Thanks...

PCs...Coralife....I have the moonlights on 24hrs, the Acintics come on at 8am, the 10K come on at 9am.....then the reverse takes place at 9pm and 10pm. They work out week. I think I'm hitting around 4.5 watts per gallon....

You think this looks big....Just wait until I get the 125g I received from Blue Ribbon Koi fixed and then my 55 will be upgraded to that.... :D

Thanks all....the full tank shot was quick and I didn't totally have the lighting set right. The tank is actually much brighter than what it looks there.. It's 30gals......I've got the following 2 false perc 1 Flame Angel 1 Cleaner Shrimp Colt Toadstool Green Colt Flowerpot Baby blue Rics Bali Slimer Digi Galaxea Green star polyps Yellow Polyps Blue, Fire & Ice Zoos Other assorted zoos Bluish-purple, maroon with green center, green striped, fuzzy, hairy mushrooms I think that's it..... I also have a 10g frag tank setup.....
