  1. Yeah, that is definitely a possibility that I'm looking at. Do you think it'll be okay with SPS and Zoas?
  2. What do you guys/gals think about a Lion? I don't have any LPS and the only fish small enough to get in its mouth would be the Damsel. I can move him to my 30 gal. Scott
  3. Thanks for the thoughts. I couldn't agree more with what you said about the Powder Blue and Sohal. I wasn't planning on either of those. What about the Powder Brown? Do they have the same issues as the Powder Blue?
  4. Thanks, Yep it is a reef. I got very lucky with my Trigger. I'd love to do a purple tang, but the yellow is well established. WHat if I add another yellow and the purple at the same time?
  5. Afternoon everyone, I'm looking to add to my stocklist on my 125g Reef. Given the current stock, what would you suggest. Current List: Yellow Tang Hippo Tang Picasso Trigger (2) Percs Yellow Tail Damsel Any recommendations will be appreciated, including those really rare additions. Thanks in advance.
  6. That's an interesting combo as well. I'd love to see a tank utilizing the Fiji Purple and find out if they like it.
  7. Great, thank you.
  8. Thanks for the recommendation. How do you like the Pro Color? What made you choose the UVL bulbs?
  9. Hello all. It's time for me to replacement the bulbs in my Tek 8 bulb T5 fixture, which is lighting my 125gallon reef. I'm wondering what light combinations some of you would recommend? I'm not going to say what I'm using now so as not to influence the recommendations. I'm just not completely happy and I think it's time for a change. Basically, I'm looking for the slightly bluish color. I'd like the benefit of the best coral color along with modest growth. I currently keep softies in the shadow areas and SPS everywhere else. Thanks, Scott
  10. Couldn't agree more. That stuff is awesome!!!!!
  11. Big fan of the Tek fixtures here. I have the 24" 4 bulb and 48" 8 bulb and love them. I've had one ballast go down but it was a simple replacement. Scott
  12. Hey everyone, I'm looking to throw a closed loop into by 120G standard. Currently I'm trying to design how I want it laid out cause my current flow just isn't doing it. Does anyone have any flow diagrams of what they are doing that seems to be working well? Thanks, Scott
  13. Front Royal here as well........
  14. Thanks. Yep. That's the superman I got from Lieshman. This is the pic I took of it a few months back on the top of the disk.
  15. I just scored this from BRK. Pics are taken about an hour after acclimation. Thanks BRK While I had the camera out I decided to snap a few other shots as well...
  16. I'm with you on this one. It even has the darker coloration at the base of the stalk.
  17. Nice fish Lee....and the tank looks great as usual......
  18. Our four new aquisitions from jhemmer are doing fantastic. If you saw our other post the RBTA had gone into hiding behind my rockwork. We came in today to find it out and about....here are some shots.
  19. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!
  20. Yeah....It's what I had laying around....I've already figured that I'll have to upgrade
  21. Thanks everyone... Nothing more than losing some snails and hermits. The Trigger has actually been with me longer than anyone so when I upgraded the 55g FOWLR to a 150g Mixed Reef then I just decided to take my chances. I wasn't about to get rid of him. He never bothered anything in the frag tank that I housed him in during the cycle period for the 150g and hasn't touched a single thing in the 150g. The only complaint that I would have other than losing some inverts is that he keeps the sandbed stirred up a bit so the tank is never perfectly clear. But I can deal with that.
