  1. Thanks....
  2. Actually picked that up a Marine Scene a few weeks ago...
  3. Oooooppps...forgot the full tank shot... Note - the Trigger and Tank are in the larger FOWLR tank....
  4. Okay, I finally got a few decent pics from my tank this week..... Just thought I would share.... There are tons more, but I'll just go with these right now....
  5. I couldn't agree more...Mine are always around those same specs...
  6. Yeah, I've always concentrated on others because I do Asto photography, so my selection of Macros is pretty much non-existent. :D
  7. I'm assuming that lens would work with my Digital Rebel? I'm looking for a good Macro lens.
  8. I'm curious what glue everyone uses in their reef tanks? I know there is so called "reef" glue and people use super glue, but is there one out there that is better than another. Brand names and where you get them would also be great to know..... THANKS!!!!
  9. Found this in some new liverock that I got the other day. It looks like some type of tubeworm, but I'm not sure. I believe the white tupe to the right of it is another one that died off during the shipping. Any ideas?
  10. Thanks gadgets. Let's say it is out for good. What should I do with the Acan on it that seems to be doing just fine? Cut it off and glue it to another rock?
  11. Well it was maroon with green centers. All of the green is gone and there are spots on it where the maroon is turning brown. That is what is worrying me.
  12. Hey all, I've got something I'm not sure what to do with. A friend of mine recently decided that he wanted coral and went out and bought this Favia Brain. I tried to tell him he didn't have enough lighting and blah blah blah. Long story short the Favia is dying off. But looking at it yesterday in his tank I saw mixed in with the dying coral is what looks like a 2 cm long Acan that is doing just fine. I'd really like to try to keep that alive, so I want to move it to my tank at home. Should I cut it out of the dying coral or what? Thanks
  13. What settings did you use on for that photo?
  14. Thanks Ed... Actually, the tank is ready. I've had my first green stripped shrooms in there for two weeks now. Doing great. Scott
  15. I also am just getting into the reefing. I've had FOWLR tanks for many years and are taking my 30Gal into a reef as we speak. (Don't worry, all of the water specifcs are great). I've moved the lighting to PCs, which I know are MHs, but it'll work for now. Just wondering if anyone had anything frags they'd like to get rid of out west near Front Royal or Winchester?????? I also work in Manassas. BTW...new member here....glad I found ya.... Scott
