So I went to the national aquarium last weekend which was a treat. Their only tanks with coral in them were gorgeous but all easy mode corals I think. The lighting in them was the real draw though. They just GLOW and I want that for my tank. Does anyone know how I can get that?? I have AI Hydras from 2013 and the spectrum is more blue and very low atm. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Other stuff I found: 2 aterina stars, many tiny bristle worms which I didn't have before, lots of different types of clams, sponges???, a metallic green mushroom, lots of clear tunicates. clam? Scallop?? bright yellow and tan sponge? lots of these clams a very pretty half-clam with some pink/ purple in it... also found some creepy peanut worms Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It crawled into a hole pretty fast so I'll have to catch a picture of it later, but I found a red and white striped brittle star. I saw one on a pacific east drag I bought but it only had two legs and I didn't know if it would survive. This one is an inch across and is doing very well! Too bad I already bought a huge one... Nitrate is down to 10. Now I have a stringy brown algae that likes to wrap around sps... the green algae is nearly gone. My Sand bed is clean and clear for the first time. My oldest torch is pissed off for some reason.. same with my bubble corals. The other euphylia aren't quite as pissed off. Got a purple plating sponge that is growing like crazy.
