  1. Does WAMAS ever have meetings? How do I find out the times and places? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. They are very slow feeders so any fish fast and voracious enough to outcompete them is a no. Any stinging corals are a no. You need great water and some need twice a day feeding. They've got a decent amount of required maintenance but they are keepable unlike the way mandarins are- at least as far as I've read into seahorses. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Sounds fun! I might be starting a 60 gallon low nutrient/ seahorse species tank.... but also maybe not... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Idk how your tank is going to handle growth.. also those rocks have bad reviews. You could probably make your own too. They're super expensive. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Lol I actually was considering fragging the 4"x4" Hollywood stunner chalice I got for $5 but first I need to learn how to frag. Other than that all my frags are going to be hoarded. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I bought a toadstool leather, green finger leather, and sunset montipora today... I bought 17 frags from the PA frag swap a month or so ago... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Thank you guys for such a warm welcome [emoji4] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Bought this bleaching 4 headed hammer for $15 a few weeks back. It's still bleaching but more extended than before. I didn't light acclimate properly and underestimated my LEDs so now it's at the bottom. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Hi, I'm running fluval Sea gen 2 LEDs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Just to clarify, the anemone is on the rocks and the plastic container with holes is on top of the anemone because I can't afford having it move before I get a powerhead cover. I will invest in a cover and do my best to take care of the anemone and keep my water stable/ keep corals out of the way. I knew it was a risk but I figured since I see my tank 24/7 I could avert disaster most times and it was only 15 dollars. Should've just waited. Could've just gone to the frag swap next year or even a in winter bc those few months might make a difference. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Yeah. I knew that before buying the anemone... I should've let it be. Currently the anemone is in a little plastic container with holes on top of the rocks. I didn't know sixlines went after dusters. So far all he's done is kill every pod in sight. If the sixline has been getting along with the dusters and they show no sign of bit feathers, is it okay to assume he will never bother them? The dusters are one of my favorite additions. 12. This is my tank so far. It's a 36 gallon fluval m-90 with 2 clownfish, a sixline wrasse, 2 Hawaiian feather dusters, hermits, and snails. I found this club because I realized a reefer I liked on YouTube was actually local and is part of this club. I got most of my corals from the MDRC frag swap in PA(I bought far too much). One of my favorites is the Hollywood stunner chalice I got for $5. It is about 4" in diameter and roughly circular. One of my biggest mistakes so far was purchasing a $15 bubbletip anemone. It's already been through the powerhead once.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I'm about about two months old in this hobby Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
