  6. They do have gfci built in strips Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  7. You can add one of these to between the wall and the strip so it's gfci and surge protected. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01M1IXSPV/ref=mp_s_a_1_18?ie=UTF8&qid=1488211926&sr=8-18&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=gfci Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

  9. Doesn't look like it Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  10. When you first turn it on and run it you get what's called TDS creep. When TDS is at it Highest for a few seconds like mine will go up to 30something then trickle down once the membrane starts working. I bypass the DI to help not deplete it as fast. This TDS creep can use it up fast Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  11. Just depends. I get about 100-120g out of a BRS 1.25lb refill like tom said co2 plays a big factor in expecially well water. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  12. Yes this is normal the brown is the exhausted and the blue is what's left. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  13. Ghost algae? Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  14. When it depletes it depletes. All sorts of things determine that. On mine on well water I go through a cartridge of DI resin about every 100-130g this is because of I think I have high CO2 in my water which depletes it very fast. So do you not have color changing DI resin thay way you can tell physically by it turning from Blue to brown it's exhaustion rate. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  15. Idk I've always been told not to but researching it just now I have mixed feedback. Looks like as long as what you used to dispense the rodi have never seen saltwater your good. Some say it can be a few pts off Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  16. That's your problem you never calibrate to 0 with rodi you calibrate with calibration sloution. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  17. Are we talking about the regular blue box one Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  18. Algae will hold nitrates and and phosphate giving you a false low reading. Continue manual removal and what you are doing with 5g a wee water change. Are you doing WC with rodi or tap? Also the sponge is not necessary and will hold nitrates. 5ppm is my no means high but could be false due to the algae. I would suggest carbon and gfo in the HOB filter. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  19. What are you considering high nitrates? Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  20. What kinda corals you got in it? Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  21. A few weeks. Just raise it a few percentages like 5 or 10% a week. You won't need much in the way of overall intensity anyway I would think no more than 40 or 50% MAX on a 300w fixture Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  22. Then you will need to dim way down. Ati actinics put out hardly any PAR Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  23. So this is more of an observation tank? Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  24. Just don't do corals right now. Just enjoy fish let your tank mature and in a few months like 6 or 7 start adding corals 1 at a time not 6 or 7 and see what happens from there Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  25. WOW! I feel so sorry for it! Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
