  1. Is there a pickup option or everything has a standard shipping fee?
  2. Looking good Eddie...keep us posted with its performance.
  3. There seems to be market for some of those expensive corals...they were gone pretty fast. But I feel like some of these corals which can be found on other websites and stores were also sold at a higher price. They didn't seem like sale prices to me.
  4. Just went through some of the sale pages...corals look good...but I am not sure if I can say the same on the prices...they seem to be on the higher side. Perhaps its just me.
  5. +1 on selling everything and restarting. No/little stress for you and the fish/corals. I did the same. Added benefit...you will have a chance to do things that you wished you did on your current tank. I had so many of those ideas and lessons learned from my first tank. Good luck with the move.
  6. Thats really good...this is what I was talking about...really nice pictures for the price. This is what I ordered. Waiting on it...will post some pictures using the filters. http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/262013494484?ul_noapp=true&chn=ps&lpid=82
  7. Thank you. I have tried uploading pictures to "my gallery" on this forum and inserting them in my threads...but thats where I see lot of restrictions on the file size and number of files. I have seen people ask for better pictures in the past...thats the reason I wanted to see if I was missing some feature. I see a lot of folks on this forum are able to post really high quality pictures...wonder if they are using external links like from photobucket. Never tried external links...I will give it a shot.
  8. I have seen people uploading some nice pictures with high resolution on this forum...I could never figure it out how to...I always get a msg back as image is too big...and also looks like there is a limit on total size and number of images you can post in a thread. Any suggestions?
  9. Has anyone used gel filters on their phones for taking close up pictures of corals? They seems to be cheap but I see amazing difference in before and after pictures on the websites who sell these filters.
  10. That makes sense. I did Google after that and found it anyway. Thanks to Will for taking time in responding.
  11. Can you post the link please? Not able to find info on this sale. Thanks.
  12. Here is another picture from different angle without the polyp extension. Hope this helps.
  13. Oops! Encrusting gorgonian? it is like hard branch?
  14. This is exactly what I think too...its very small to be xenia. Thanks Alan. I actually bought a frag of clove polyp too at MACNA...again it doesn't seem like that. At this point...as long as its not aptasia I am good. Really doesn't matter what it is. Cant believe so many people think that its xenia. BTW, when I bought it...it did have a tiny branch without polyps...after few hrs I started seeing one by one....now there are 4 to 5 polyps on the gorgonian (sorry I am starting to call it as gorgonian inspite of so many votes of xenia).
  15. Its a very close up picture...compare the size of zoa next to it..its smaller than zoa.
  16. I used to have pulsing xenia in my old tank...this one doesn't look anything like that. This has very tiny polys and more like a rubbery look. Dont know how to put it...but one thing I am sure of is that its not xenia. I was worried if its aptasia...it was on a branch...I searched for gorgonians online...seems more like it...the guy who sold this to me was very confident that its gorgonian. Just wanted to double check.
  17. Sorry its not xenia...I am sure about that.
  18. Over the weekend, I picked up this zoa frag at MACNA from one of the vendors...it has this tiny coral looking thing in the middle with polyps...when I asked the person selling it..he said it was a gorgonian in the middle. Just wanted a second opinion.
  19. Here is the screen top for my new tank. Used same materials as mentioned by other members on this thread except for the screen...I used the bird net from my last build. I have a lot left if anyone is interested.
