  1. I would just use a gravel vac to siphon it out during your next water change.
  2. Sorry to hear. Even when you think you're prepared, something unexpected can still strike. Hope things turn around. I would perform a big water change and also run activated carbon ASAP. The focus should be to get the fish and livestock into clean water. I would even consider setting up a temp small tank with a piece of live rock, and essential equipment. Just a thought. Just be careful of over heating the water and ammonia build up. You definitely want some aeration.
  3. Weird. Which Apex model do you have? I'm running a full Apex and an Apex-EL and they both have it for the probe. Maybe something changed? Maybe there's something in the manual. https://apexfusion.com/pdf/acrm.pdf
  4. What about through the modules UI?
  5. I'm on Android too. Click on the gear icon of the probe (see fig 1). Then click the Advanced tab (figure 2). I don't trust heaters at all. I would rather the tank cool to ambient temperature than cook.
  6. It's possible you need a bigger heater. I prefer to use 2 heaters in case one goes out. Maybe add a second heater instead of a bigger one? Make sure your probe isn't in the same compartment as your heater and you have good flow through those areas. I just program the outlet as a heater and use the probe for notifications (too cold/hot). Here's the outlet and probe settings I use and where they get programmed. Probe Outlet set as Heater
  7. Very nice. When is the new tank arriving? Best of luck with it.
  8. I like it. Is it one large piece? If so, how hard is it to move and add to the tank?
  9. I’ve purchased glass from LGM Glass Designs (formally Laurel Glass & Mirror) multiple times. Recently purchased glass to eurobrace a used Redsea reefer 250. Very friendly people and the measurements are always dead on.
  10. Ok, hope that works. Have you tried plugging the AquaBus cable into different ports on the head and also the eb832?
