So a bit of free time tonight so we unpacked 200lbs of Dry Rock from BRS. Thinking I might need more for an eight foot tank.. Laid it out on a table for the time being. Wont put it in the tank till the weekend, after the PVC is done... Take a look...

So I drilled holes in the walls of the baffles to lower the level of the water. After a test with the pump, I will have to put some back pressure on the pump to slow the flow a bit, and I put more holes in it... I think/hope it will be good to go. See below.... Richie

Hey Everyone... Thought I would do a small update. Spent the last couple of days finishing up trim and bar work. Also painted the back of the tank. Which is/was a complete pain since it was on the bar already... Took my time with some cold ones and did multiple coats. Over all happy with everything except the top edge of the paint and tank.. Looks like it will need a few more trim / patience brush strokes... I have Rob coming over on Saturday to do PVC work. He came out on Sunday and we talked through ideas on how to best get it done. Now a week of looking at paint dry.. FYI the door on the right is where all the electronics will go.. Richie

Hey Everyone... I wanted to give a bit more perspective on how big this sump is. I slid it out of the stand since I had to drill the baffles down. I will do a water test in the next day or so to make sure I still have the needed flow and height for the skimmer.. Richie

Since I am getting closer to filling my tank. I have started a fish list. A couple of the fish that I truly love are Maroon Clown Fish.. but I hear they can be a tad bit aggressive once they mature... Thought I would put something up to see if we can start a discussion around this... Also lets see them if you got them.. Im a fan of pictures... Thanks, Richie
