Still running it the same way. Stuck a smaller tube inside the intake line then direct it else where. I think it's quieter this way.

Had a watchmen goby go MIA almost 6 months ago. I'm hoping for the same result.

I have a fully grown yellow tang in the tank and added two female Watanabai. It was pretty hectic at first, the tang kept trying to spike them with its tail and chased them around the tank. Literally after a day, the tang laid off and let them be if it had jumped them both into its gang or something. The larger female chases the little female Wananabei all the time trying to show dominance I guess. I've had them for a month now but no sign of any sex change yet. They are both very lively and bring a lot of color into my tank. Not shy at all, they look like they schooled up with my chromis in a way. They both eat like a horse, algae sheets, pellet, flakes, you name it. I also notice that one of my Wantanabei picking at my sps at one point, didn't really do any damage but they do get curious sometimes.

Moonlights until 10am The peak is from 1-3 where it's at 70w/50b then after 3 it gradually works it way back down until 8pm where it's moon again.

I took the tube off that goes to the silencer and stuck a longer and smaller tube inside it. It lowered the noise by a lot.

I'm using the last gen cs1 with a psk1000 and a maxi 1200 And it's pretty darn quiet. The stuff it collect never falls to amaze me.

Just know that they're good if you ever forget to feed them.

Right now the air tube isn't plugged into the silencer.

Don't know why they made that pipe so short. I've been meaning to raise that.

Skimmer is fixed and is back on duty. The hissing sound was from the silencer restricting airflow. So what I did was pull the line to the silencer off completely. That made the skimmer pull in enough air to start skimming again for some reason.

Thanks a lot for all the help guys. I'll clean it tomorrow and let you all know how it goes.

Hi guys, I'm having some issues with my cs1 skimmer. It's not creating any foam. When I got this thing at first, it was amazing! Now it's just bouncing water around in the cone. In order to get it to skim, I take a syringe with water and push it into the air intake and Walla! It's skimming again. By the time I get up in the morning, it's back to doing what it's doing again. The whole skimmer shakes and struggles to make any foam. I have it sitting about 10" of water. Oh and the sound coming from the air intake is noticeably louder. Please help!
