  1. Congrats on the wedding sir! Lighting looks awesome! Definitely has me even more interested in a similar setup. Will have to stop by one night for sure!
  2. +1...we need a live sale-ERC style!!!
  3. Thank you! I would like to have it set up in the next month or so hopefully, but we'll see how things play out. I'll get another build thread started up soon.
  4. Thank you sir! I love the color of the clam. It has so much more color than the picture shows. i finally got a good camera, I just haven't figured it out good enough yet to use the pictures from it. I've been using that orange filter you gave me and my cell phone for all my pictures still.
  5. I won an ERC auction for a gold torch not long ago and decided to take a little drive to pick it up and finally get to see what they had to offer. I'm glad I did! The quality of the corals is amazing! Unbelievable products and top notch people! Took another trip out there last weekend and added some really awesome pieces! I've been wanting a scoly for a long time and finally decided to give it a shot. These are awesome!! Definitely won't be my only one. This picture was taken after lights out. Also picked up a really nice acro mini colony from Marco recently! Great guy as well! Great experience all around with ERC! The picture does not do justice to the acro. I have a hard time getting a really good picture of it, as it it a really light green color. It looks so much better in person.
  6. Finally got the chance to meet Isaac (YHSublime) and see the amazing setup he has going on! Very Impressive! Here are a few of the frags I picked up from him. There are a couple more also but I wasn't able to get a good enough picture of them. Will have to try again tomorrow along with some recent pics of a few of these that have started encrusting already. All are very healthy are growing really well!
  7. Alright folks....I wish I had taken pictures of this "build" as it was happening, but unfortunately I knew nothing about WAMAS, and build threads, and all the other helpful things that pictures would have been good for. But....I recently picked up a 120g that i will be setting up hopefully sooner rather than later and will start a new full build thread on. Back to reality now with the current setup. Based on my inexperienced opinion this tank seems to be doing great! I've been wanting to upgrade my skimmer for almost as long as the tank has been up, and I finally got it done. I ended up going with the RLSS R6-I, it's only been running for 2 days but so far I couldn't be happier with it. Other than that it's pretty much been on cruise control. I have added quite a few corals over the last several months, so I'll get some pictures of those up along with some of the others that I never posted.
  8. I don't know too much about them but the pic you posted looks more like one that just eat algae. But again I don't know much about them so take it with a grain of salt.
  9. The rock is the only thing that seems to be the same, but it's kinda hard to tell in the pics, haha! Let me know if ever you need to free up some space!
  10. That's unreal. Looks awesome man! The size and color looks nothing like it did when I saw this.
  11. Thanks for checking it out. I barely remember my first tank. I want to say I was around 10 years old or so. Hopefully he sticks with it. If not...it'll be a fun little project for me!
  12. What range of alk and calc are you ultimately going for? Very nice clam! I agree that getting rid of the monti rock would free a whole lot of space but...that torch itself would be reason enough for me to keep it.
  13. Thank you sir! Appreciate the feedback!
  14. Thanks! How old is your son? I think the key to success with my son is to let him kinda take control with it. I'll give him a few options and let him make the final decision based on the options given to him. Seems to keep him interested more that way.
  15. I'm not too familiar with them so I need to do a bit of research, but there are some really cool looking ones!
