I have my levels good now but I don't keep hermits so I have some small patches of hair algea and bubble algea I'm trying to rid the tank of. I'm not planing on dosing my tank with it because I can't test for it. I just wanna use it to dip a few times. Thanks for the advise. I read to use 10:1 ratio tank water to 3% hp. Than rinse in separate container of tank water. Does that sound right? I may if all goes we'll do some spot killing in the tank with a syringe. But nothing crazy and right before I do a water change just to be safe

Hey guys so I've recently discovered a lot of info on how great 3% hydrogen peroxide can instantly kill all types of algea. I was wondering if anyone else has used it with success. If anyone has had or Hurd of having issues with z-p when dipping with it. Or any first hand expirence using it. Thanks

Hey guys so I have a 120 oveanic tech tank with one of those huge annoying glass center braces. Anyone have one and has tips on cleaning the calcium build up on top? I think it's not letting good light through

Vodka dosing works great I mix it with vinegar 50/50. I used it to lower phosphate and nitrate and it def worked fast. After about a month my levels we're good so I turned my biopellet reactor back on to keep the levels stable. If I ever have an out break I will repeat this process since I had great results. No change in coral except seemed more happy when the levels dropped obviously. I've never ran Gfo so I can't comment on it . Good luck

I took my big magnet algae scrapper and placed it under the mp 40 because I had mine fall. It since has given me no issues and also keeps the alignment right where I want it. Also check your spacer and actually get a tape measure out to measure your glass. Just my two cents

Idk if this helps but a few years ago I got a disease from a wild Aussie coral and it did the same thing. But when all that was left was skeleton it wasn't white it was hot pink. Idk if that is what you have but I found no info on it anywhere and it killed everything nonmatter what I did

Also I Hurd from a buddy of mine that you need to take rocks out with aptasia on them and put them in a separate area until they get big enough because the ones you get are the size of a grain of rice. Idk if this is true. It's just what I hurd

Fishie Yes that's why I said dose vodka than after the levels are down use biopellets to maintain the levels. That's the best way that has worked on 2 diff tanks of mine. But that's just my experience

Hey guys I've had my apex setup for some time now and every day I have to sync my clock from the iPhone app or my timers won't come on at the right time. If that makes sense lol. Is their anyway to get the apex to pull time some other way so it will always be the right time?

Just dose vodka. It will get everything in check. Than run a pio pellet reactor to keep them down. IMO
