Any ideas on killing the little ones that get between polyps without harming your palys?

Their is ways to do it but I doubt they are reef safe ways. Just like they fix scratches, chips, cracks in your windshield. But if I remember right they are some dangerous chem involved

IMO do not re use sand it is never worth it. Just remember old sand is filled with phosphate and nitrate which would cause a larger cycle

I use a single bulb t 8 fixture. Like the fresh water ones with a blue bulb (looks) works great I have an extra if you want it

If it's not fixed yet you can get a large clamp from lowes or Home Depot and put it in the middle for the time being. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN

Just remember when you test for it it will change throughout the day and night. That's why I have my fuge light on at night and my normal lights durning the day to keep it more stable. Also if your tank is in a small room the amount of oxygen will be lower so some ppl run their skimmer air line outside to draw in fresh air. Hope that helps

I know they aren't fish but my two cleaner shrimp are awesome they climb all over my hand and arm when it's in the tank and eat dead skin off my hands. They also will eat out of my hand too

Hey guys so I have my 120 set up and cycled I'm coming from a 90 reef set up for 3-4 years and now I'm starting a new one. I'm worried about moving corals from a 2x 250 watt metal halide and 4 t5 fixture to 2 120w ocean revive t247 led fixtures. I have talked to some ppl and have been told to just lower the light and time and move up slowly but should I move everything at once? or do some and than some more? And where should I start my time and intensity? Any input would be great. Thanks

So it's been awile the tank has cycled planning on adding coral soon since my 2 shrimp and snails have been fine for a month. Yea I'm taking it slow lol.

They are amazing I'm glad I waited for the ones with timers and (1)!!!! Plug lol I know it might sound dumb but it makes life so much easier. They are a great company to work with as we'll. I say go for OCEAN REVIVE

Got my lights!!! They are ocean revive arctic t247. The new full spectrum with built in timers. Gooodddd these lights look amazing the full spectrum is perfect and the setup is extremely easy. The built in timer has separate timers for full spectrum and blue. They come with a remote and 2 hanging kits. The light only has one power supply! So enough said here are the pic

So I got most of it set up! Def a lot more intense than I though. There are so many more options than ppl make out to be.
