  1. Sailfin... I knew that.. Ive had them 3-4 days, they seemed to be doing fine, not opening up as much but not withering away either. Last night I worked late, got home late so the fish werent fed as much. 3 frag plugs, one was left alone, one was left with only 1 polyp and the other one completely gone. Im taking out the foxface tonight and putting the Zoas in QT or a nano. Might possibly sell the foxface.
  2. I just purchased some Zoa frags the other day and it looks like something in my tank has taking a liking to them. I missed it happening so i was wondering if anyone could help me figure out the culprit. This is what I have... Emerald crab Blue legged hermits Mexican Turbos and Ceriths Salefin and Yellow tang One spot foxface (ive read this guy could be the problem) clowns dottybacks, bi color and strawberry blue velvet damsel yellowtail damsel 3 stripe damsels no shrimp
  3. I have a 6 bulb HO T5 fixture and I was wondering, what do you guys think would be the best configuration of bulbs? Ive read a few things on here and have gotten some advice from fellow reefers but its a little mixed. Does it even matter? I have enough Blues, whites and purples for pretty much any combo, so go wild!
  4. Had no idea this existed. Just ordered a package because of this thread. Thanks guys
  5. I personally like the little cave in the first post.
  6. what kind of lights are you planning on using?
  7. I just joined this past July during the annual member extravaganza(which was awesome) and I got a bunch of frags. The frags have taken off somewhat ( they are SLOWLY growing) and i was wondering, Where is the best place on this site to have someone identify a few frags for me? Id like to know exactly what they are so I can take better care of them. Water parameters are ok, not perfect but im worried my placement in the tank is off on some. Thanks!
  8. I have a 75g as my main tank but the nano is a 12g. I was thinking of pair of clowns, 2-3 medium sized rocks, 2 small fish, (dottyback or squirrelfish) a goby and a few snails/crabs. Along with a few softies. Too much livestock?
  9. Beautiful tank, I love the clean look. The walnut rail was a great touch.
  10. Ive recently acquired a nano and just started looking into equipment, from this thread it looks like water changes would be sufficient but does that mean no filters at all? Could i get by with water changes(RO/DI water), thermometer and flow?
  11. I was wondering the same thing myself. I was just shopping around for a skimmer for a 12g im about to buy, but i think ill put that idea on the shelf for a bit and test out my chemistry skills.
  12. Nice looking pico, very clean and great shots!
