So I have finally started working on the rockwork for my 90g DT. It has only taken years to get here. Anyways, here is what we have so far. This will be a mixed reef so eventually will have corals, there will be a sandbed eventually as well. I just want your honest opinions please. Finally got around to trimming my blue ridge coral. This coral grows like mad for me. Thankfully came off the frag rack very easily. I kept putting this off because I thought it would difficult, that people might want frags, etc. Before After I do find the blue underneath so pretty. But now I have room for more corals! Sooooo interesting place I am in. I found the isopod in my coral quarantine tank (which has not worked out as well as I had planned, obviously), which has no fish and has never had fish. I do plan on getting fish in the future if the fish I want is ever found. I did add a christmas tree worm rock a couple months ago (which could not be dipped), my best guess is the pod came in with it. Do these pods absolutely need fish to live? So if I continue to go fallow for another few-6 months will I be safe?

As usual, found a weird creepy crawly in one of my tanks late at night (my only time I have to stare at them). Pretty sure it is a type of isopod. I unfortunately did not take a photo of it next to something to show size, but one of the biggest surprise hitchhikers I have pretty much ever had, maybe almost 1/4". Beautiful little creature, especially that tail. But if I did ID it correctly it is a scavenger with the possibility of being parasitic to fish, so out into the cold it went. Oh thanks for that, I am actually sticking with pong mag pumps for the return so I am good on that. From the little video BRS had about the reeflink I don't think I need it.

hey hopefully you guys can help with a follow up question. Why would I need a ReefLink? I will be using an Apex on this tank and the pumps are the only EcoTech products I will be using so no radions that I need access to.
