  2. I am still working on the locline. Powerheads, at least one in the front right corner pointed to the left, might do another opposite, or 2 on the right. I plan on using mp40s. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
  3. So I have finally started working on the rockwork for my 90g DT. It has only taken years to get here. Anyways, here is what we have so far. This will be a mixed reef so eventually will have corals, there will be a sandbed eventually as well. I just want your honest opinions please. Here is what is leftover I do plan on using more of the tonga once I have the sandbed in place to anchor them. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk

  6. And IMO for how expensive things can be in this hobby, this is pretty inexpensive. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
  7. Have you guys seen this? http://smarterreefs.com/ It is really *cool! (I am sure not as cool as what Justin was working on) I don't really need it right now, but I may get it in the future. *- Pun not intended
  8. Finally got around to trimming my blue ridge coral. This coral grows like mad for me. Thankfully came off the frag rack very easily. I kept putting this off because I thought it would difficult, that people might want frags, etc. Before After I do find the blue underneath so pretty. But now I have room for more corals! More like room for my current hoard to spread out a bit more (The giant chunk left is the original piece on a ceramic plate, not stuck to the rack) Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
  9. That is a good size clutch for their first! Congrats! Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
  10. I don't see that first coral anymore listed, just curious what it was? Acan? Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
  11. Thanks but no thanks, I would rather get a pair when the time comes Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
  12. Do you have any paired watanabeis? Please someone shoot me for even asking about these fish
  13. Congrats Alan and Hilary! Sorry to see you leave the officers ring, Laura, we'll always have MACNA lol <3
  14. Wow I am so sorry you are leaving, I totally get how much time it takes up. Good luck!! Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
  15. I like it! Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
  16. Maybe blue ridge coral? Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
  17. Update, found eggs yesterday! I am just so happy Jon, the female, is okay. The slightly bad news, although I couldn't care less, is the male has either forgotten how to take care of eggs or has given up lol. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
  18. Sooooo interesting place I am in. I found the isopod in my coral quarantine tank (which has not worked out as well as I had planned, obviously), which has no fish and has never had fish. I do plan on getting fish in the future if the fish I want is ever found. I did add a christmas tree worm rock a couple months ago (which could not be dipped), my best guess is the pod came in with it. Do these pods absolutely need fish to live? So if I continue to go fallow for another few-6 months will I be safe?
  19. As usual, found a weird creepy crawly in one of my tanks late at night (my only time I have to stare at them). Pretty sure it is a type of isopod. I unfortunately did not take a photo of it next to something to show size, but one of the biggest surprise hitchhikers I have pretty much ever had, maybe almost 1/4". Beautiful little creature, especially that tail. But if I did ID it correctly it is a scavenger with the possibility of being parasitic to fish, so out into the cold it went. 20. Sorry I won't be able to make it, I hope you guys have a great time! Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
  21. Oh Tom, I am so sorry, you will be in my thoughts. Best of luck with the surgeries and the recovery. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
  22. Already got it when I ordered the original controller, thanks!!
  23. Oh thanks for that, I am actually sticking with pong mag pumps for the return so I am good on that. From the little video BRS had about the reeflink I don't think I need it.
  24. hey hopefully you guys can help with a follow up question. Why would I need a ReefLink? I will be using an Apex on this tank and the pumps are the only EcoTech products I will be using so no radions that I need access to.
