Not the easiest item to photograph.

It arrived quickly. I have not started assembly as I was focused on aquascaping so that I could start the tank up. It is now cycling and I will start to build the CS3 this weekend!!

Modular Marine made mine custom so I would imagine that they could do just about anything you design.

I had a custom overflow made from Modular Marine and I absolutely love it. The quality is great. The price was reasonable and the order was filed quickly. I am cycling my tank now and do not have the skimmer running yet but this overflow plumbed as a Bean Animal is dead silent.

Shipped today. Anxiously waiting

If you were starting a ~250 gal mixed reef what skimmer would you buy? What do you have now and does it work well? What skimmer would you avoid at all costs?

Looking forward to helping out. There was no place for additional comments on the survey but I have an another volunteer that is not a member. We would want to volunteer for the same times though.

Fans pointed at the top of the tank work great. Evaporate more water but it will keep it cool.

Since I couldn't locate the receipt they sent me a "like new" one for the cost of shipping. Not what I hoped for but at least I have a replacement.

All 3 were very well healed if not over growing the plug.

Don't you just love that when you are fixing one thing on you tank and that leads you to find something much worse? Some ants decided that they too enjoyed the reef and took up residence in the back of the tank. So this morning I am relocating the ants to the vacuum and notice that the Tunze ATO is not flush against the tank wall. After unsuccessfully trying to reattach it I notice the reason it will no longer stick. The tank inhabitants seem okay but I am concerned about what this has leached into the tank. Water change in progress.
