Thank we love the DD too as it is just an amazing tank. I am so excited to see that start to come together. Our goal is to try to get it up and running by 9/14 the Redskins season opener. That way it can cycle all football season when we don't have time anyways

We still need to build a stand and complete the construction of the fish room etc but here is the fish room. It still has a lot of stuff from main construction but will give you an idea of what we are looking at. Ant and all opinions welcome! Soon to be Utility sink/ RODI/Drain etc One thing we are thinking about is having a sump under the tank then on this wall mount a refugium above the top of the tank for pods etc And for the Redskin Fans on the board here is a look at how it is all coming together in the other rooms

That's right you read it correctly a basement flood means a tank upgrade LOL. Since our basement flooded out last March we decided to move a wall, and go bigger. Go big or go home right? LOL The main damage has been repaired and the tank was delivered today (THANK YOU ERC, Coral Hind, Marco, & Richard) So here we go: It's Here! Thank you Exotic Reef Creations!

Awesome love the HTTR and the golden eye ideas The tank will not be ready for awhile as it is arriving Saturday, then we need to build out the room (stand and all) then it needs to cycle. Just thinking in advance. It will be so cool though I am excited to see it all come together.

Ok some know we are upgrading very soon (tank is on order) so in anticipation of the new tank and the fact that it is going in the Redskins Theme room what B&G coral should we get? For fun as the tank will have some Redskin theme coral but it will have others too ERC is already holding me a small frag of a B&G acan LOL and as much as I would love a maroon clownfish Jenn told me NO!

Thank you for all the input. I have heard to stay away from pressure treated lumber also as the chemicals in it can cause allergy issues and I am already allergic to everything!

Ok most of the original damage has been fixed so now it is time to start looking at ordering the tank (250g Marine Land DD)and building a stand. Our first question since this will be an in wall is what wood should be used to build the stand? Regular wood? Composite? Also what should we use to protect the wood and wall frame from salt water? We used green board in that wall already. Thoughts?

Riggers, PE Mysid and a mix variety of other frozen foods. Once in awhile we treat them to live brine, mysid etc

AMEN! I support all but one of our vendors (Personal & moral reasons). I do not see why there is the competition between them. It would be cool to see them all work together as there is certain things I like about each one and I find them all friendly and easy to work with.
