  2. so my fish are dropping like flies. They are not doing so good fighting it off. idk what to do i guess they are just not gonna make it. This really sucks. i wish i had a big enough tank to QT them in or the room and money to do it!
  3. so i need an ATO and im trying to figure out which is better so i want your votes on which i should choose!: Tunze 3155 Osmolator Universal (Auto Top Off) *NEW* w / magnet or Avast Marine works auto top off
  4. Does any body know how to get some juvenile B&W clowns to host a RBTA? any suggestions that i could do or try.
  5. tank looks great love all your fish but what kind of wrasse is that?
  6. yea i know what you mean but on the 72" there is only 6 red and 6 green not really too many. some people say they are pointless and some people say they put them in there becuase red and green spectrum occurs naturally in nature and thats what they are going for!
  7. yea the 72" is 1399 which is pretty dam good i mean it would take me three radions at 750 a pop. i was just hoping someone else might have had used these lights to give me some sort of rating. MR. saltwater tank reviewed these at a reef fest in AZ, and the rep. seemed very smart and the product looked great i just dont wanna be the first fish i know to buy one and get shafted lol.
  8. oh ok i understand. yea i just dont understand why they all sell the stuff claiming to work and is reef safe and its all BS. Its false advertising and shouldnt be alloud. i bought this stuff called KICK-ICH from my LFS and it was fifty dollars and even tho i have not finshed the fifteen day treatment i have seen no change what so ever other then a PH drop which pissed my RBTA off they discolored and shrunk down and i could just tell were not ok. but they are much better now but still just crazy these products are trash.
  9. no takers on this? has anybody even ever heard of this company? and what do you guys think?
  10. im so screwed its slowly spreading now four fish have it. all 3 of my tangs and my blenny are showing spots and wont come out durning the day. they all eat except my powder brown.
  11. what is snake oil and where do i get it? it worked for you?
  12. Im so stressed out now! the ich is back( spots showing) and now my brown and yellow tang have it this time! i tried this new reef safe bullflop that takes fifteen days dosing every other day and its not working so far. i have been soaking there food in garlic but dam no change. i just dunno know what to do!
  13. http://sunbritelighting.com/SBF-Series.html These lights look nice and iphone capable and comes in a 72" L and says they are compairable to a 400w MH. so does anybody have these? would love some feed back on them!
  14. you should be fine your 265 is plenty big enough for them to set up there own space. just be sure to add them all at the same time and they should only be agressive during feedings.
  15. thanks for your help and its a 210g tank catching all my fish would be a nightmare so i am going to leave them in there and hope for the best thanks
  16. Guess you can say that word on here
  17. I'm going to play H-E-double hockey sticks trying to catch him
  18. 2. When water temperature drops, mucous coating is often reduced or lost in marine fishes, that is why sometimes MI becomes visible on the body of the fish after a sudden drop in temperature. This meant, however, that the disease was present and living in the aquarium, infecting fish without the aquarist having been aware of it.
  19. will/can it kill the fish?
  20. dammit! is there anything i can do to keep the others from getting it? no other fish has those spots.
  21. Does this look like ich? ive never had it before but they are tiny white dots starting to form on its head and body. My temp in my tank dropped from 79 to 71 last night my heater broke thats the only thing thats changed and i noticed this on my PBT today.
  22. congrats i had one split into four pieces about two months ago and they are all still alive and growing. they are all real small tho. the size of quarters.
