ok WAMAS i need your help in my DT on the glass ALL over inside the tank i can see these little white bugs. They are so small your can barely even tell its a bug i mean tiny. like the size of a grain of salt! Seems to be thousands of them in there! does anyone have a clue what they are? i wish i could take a picture but my camara wont even pick it up its so tiny.

No but not every LED colors run at 100% most people run the reds and greens at a very low % therefore using alot less wattage the only colors most people use 100% of are white and blue

thats 130-140w at full intensity if you even run it that high. 50-60% intensity your lookin at only 60-70w

They are so over populated down there. people are eating them and everyone i talked to said they taste great. Ive got a friend who just got back and she said they actually had them on the menu at a resturant.

i have read before that if your running GFO do not use cheato is this true? because my cheato is surely dieing off now.

well i never have tested incoming water so i guess i need to try that coming out of the R/O. i do tend to over feed and it is frozen food. its rods food. but the tank is fallow right now and im 32 days in and i havent been feeding the tank anything.

it was 1.0+ when i first tested it. thats what i ment by real high. now its .5 steady its been at this number for two days now

so my po4 was real high last week when i tested so i bought a bigger BRS reactor with there good GFO. its been running for 5 days now and its down to 0.5 from 1.0 where it was. What i want to know is if it takes this long to drop, or if i have some other problem. i tested for everything because i noticed that some cheato was disappearing and looked to be dieing. everything else in the tank looks great except my HUGE bright yellow polyp rock! they havent opened in days.

ok thanks alot for the info. does size matter could i do like 4-5" pieces. and do i need to do it in round pieces since its a toad stool or will it grow round again?

i dose zoe once a week now made by kent for about 6 months steady now.(another reefer told me nothin but good things about him doing it). Dont notice much of a change but everytime i put it in my shrimp go crazy and my polps and zoas open fully, so its got to be doing something and its cheap

can you frag a leather? if so how is it done? If you cant frag it can you trim them without doing any harm?

Yea he has the best looking tank I've seen. Better than most public aquariums IMO.
