Once its settles press the button rinse it and move to the higher solution. Once its set you can retest your calibration by using your solutions.

I think I isolated the problem being the probe. With the probe plugged in and go to calibrate it I cant manually go below 107F, with it unplugged I can so hopefully it is just the probe. I can also see water seeping out of the seal around the probe wire. Thanks for the input!!

Maybe its timing out somehow. When I do mine it only takes a half a minute for the numbers to settle. Also cleaning the probe between solutions Ive had to recalibrate my PH probe several times not sure why though. Good Luck!!

There shouldnt be any pipes that close to the drywall "typically". If you find one floor joist the rest should fall in line every 16" on center also the joist's run usually from front to back in the direction. You can remove the light fixture to find the joist too the electric box is usually mounted to one. God Luck

As hypertech said I would put it up as high as possible. The first time you mix salt your just going to have to count the 1/2 cup's you add to achieve the salinity you want then just make a note on your tub with a sharpie. If you buy salt by the box each bag will make 50 gallons at about 1.025 if you have your container marked closely to 50 gallons. I wouldnt use this process without checking the salinity with a refractometer.

OK I need a little advice. I relocated my water storage containers one is 150Gallon and the other is 75Gallon obviously I use the 75 for the salt mixing. I moved them up to the garage to give me more room plus my new container doesn't fit in the door . So both are one story above my fish room and the other end of the house about 50' away. I ran two 1/2" pex lines from the tanks to the fish room and ill be connecting them to the bottom of the containers with a ball valve. Im sure water will flow but should I install a T in the pex line next to the containers and have the line vented above the container? Or will it flow just fine without a vent. I plan on using just gravity so no pumps and Id like the best flow rate. Let me know your thoughts or ideas

Ray thanks for the nice words. It took me a few weeks only because I had no live stock as I sold everything from my 150. I think you figure out a good set up by many bad set ups you know how it goes "I wish I would have done this or that". Its a Fowler for now with a few softies. SOHAL,Sailfin,Angel,four clowns a tone of snails hermits and a spiney blue lobster.
