  2. I know I could look this up, but it probably be faster to ask, and get a more detail answer for my particular situation. I took my female clown outta my DT and put her in QT to treat for an injury/infection. Here was my original thread for this: CLOWN. I've had her in the QT now for about 2 weeks treating with some antibiotics, She is getting better, but her eye is still cloudy. It was very bad at one point, but it is now about the same as in the pic on the other thread. I'm hoping that about another week will clear it up. My male has been in the DT alone since I took the female out, he didnt show any bad signs of infection. I was going to go ahead and treat him anyways, but he proved really hard to catch, and I didnt want to stress him out trying to catch. So he has been alone now for 2 weeks, with another week or more possible. So my question is, he will change sex being the only clown in the tank??? or does he need another male clown to set off the transformation??? and how long does it take to change???

  4. Well put Chad. My reasons are very much the same as yours. As a kid the best time of the year was summer time, and that meant going to the ocean. I would be out there all day swimming and digging in the sand looking for different critters, I would have to be dragged away. Other reasons that I enjoy this hobby is the time involved and the challenge of it. This isnt a simple hobby that you can do from time to time, it takes alot of hard work and dedication to be sucessful. Theres aslo so many things in this hobby that amaze me so much. How things grow, or strange behavior. We can spend hours looking at our tanks and still not see everything in them.
