I use my ro water and have had great results. i.e. LFS water is at 32ppt measure with my refract. and seems right on.

My tank is 24 gallon cube. I will keep him until I set up a tank at my daughters school and put it in there ( a10 gallon coral tank).

Got home last night I got home and my wife points to the tank and says "what's that in the tank". "It's a F'in urchin" I say. "When did you buy that?" she said. "I didn't". So, a hitch hiker it must be. The only thing is I have bought nothing but small frags for the past 3-4 months. I did buy live rock from TACo some time ago it must have came in the rock. It is not small about the size of a "jaw breaker". You know the big candy ball. The ? is I have no idea on the care of this creature. Any suggestions?

I have this light, 24", on my 24 gal. Biocube and LOVE it! Have no problem with heat. I did upgrade the light from 10,000k to 15,000k and changed out the actinics. I run the actinics 9am-9pm, Halide from 1pm-8pm and LED's from 9pm-9am. Great coral growth and color.

Mostly I got the splitter to have Multi directional water flow.

I want to up grade the pump in my 24 gallon nanocube. I put a spliter on the out into the tank and just not enough power to move water. Any suggestions?

Just chiming in isn't this testing Specific gravity (1.025) and not actual salinity? Which should be around 26-30 if using a good refractometer. They are related but not the same.
