monkeymanolo October 23, 2019 Share October 23, 2019 Does anyone know where I could find a tutorial online on how to build a small in tank sump? This would be for a 20-25g Mr.Aqua Rimless Cube. I'm just curious on how baffle configuration would look like, spacing etc. Would greatly appreciate any suggestions, thank you!
epleeds October 23, 2019 Share October 23, 2019 Eshopps makes a small cube sump. Might fit ur needs.
YHSublime October 23, 2019 Share October 23, 2019 Do you mean just an internal overflow box, like an all in one?
monkeymanolo October 23, 2019 Author Share October 23, 2019 No, I wanted to make one myself with Plexiglas. Something that would be 4-6 in deep and cover the whole back wall of the tank. If I do go the route of an overflox box, any other recommendations along with the Eshopps?
epleeds October 23, 2019 Share October 23, 2019 Oh. To make it an AIO. just look on R2R or RC in the nano forum. I’m sure someone has done it that has plans they could share.
DFR October 24, 2019 Share October 24, 2019 Yea there’s tons of these builds out there. Here’s a pretty simple one I found doing a quick google search. https://www.nano-reef.com/forums/topic/249145-aio-20l-zoanthid-garden/ This second link, though it has a more professional look will require more specialized tools. https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/aio-20l-diy-build.79473/ Also these aren’t tutorials per say but it should give you an idea of how you can build one. ImGoingCoastal October 24, 2019 Share October 24, 2019 I used that second link, though I didn't have a CNC machine so I just drilled multiple holes instead of the slots. I bought 3 12x12 sheets of acrylic off Amazon or eBay for $20 for my 20L.
