Red Algae

Can anyone tell me why I am getting red algae and best way to get rid of it. Thanx

Red slime? aka cyano? If so chemiclean works wonders.

I've also used Chemiclean with decent results. Mine came back, however, as the root cause of the issue was not fixed (I think I need new DI resin). Fix the root cause along with chemiclean is the best way for optimal results.

Did you get rid of your red algae?  Pics would help identify if you still have it.  If it is red slime, chemiclean is great providing you have decent oxygen exchange (surface agitation, skimmer, airstone) in your system otherwise it could cause issues due to oxygen depletion.
