Do bulkhead seals need to be replaced??

My tank has been up and running for 5+ years. I’m wondering if bulk head seals ever need replacing.

unless it's leaking. I don't see any reason to replace them.

Not until you mess with them.

I would only replace them if they leak or you take the bulkhead off for some reason. But if I do take one apart, I don't reuse the seal unless it's almost new.

5-7 years on service tanks are typical time periods before they begin to leak. I'll tighten them and if they stop...
