treesprite March 17, 2018 March 17, 2018 I read that lawnmower blenny diet is only 15% algae. I got a cherub angel a couple weeks ago, with hopes that it would eat algae. I put some good sized algae-infested rocks in the QT, and the fish is definitely picking at the rocks, even with me feeding it twice a day. It is a good fish if you have no super-shy tankmates.

Their occasional nipping may be enough to keep a few stray strands of hair algae from progressing into a widespread problem, but they're too small to put any real dent in an existing outbreak.
